Notes:

1. All previous lists are null and void.

2. Entry Forms MUST be Filled Out. Entry Forms are available online or at the Beaverton Library or in Beaverton Area Schools after Labour Day. Please include name of School and Age on Entry Forms.

3. Drop off Exhibits Thursday, September 12 between 1:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. All Exhibits MUST be in place until 10:00 to 11:00 AM Sunday. Articles cannot be stored. Prize money will be available on Sunday in the Scout Hall between 10:00 and 11:00 am.

4. Please make sure your name, school & exhibitor number are on the Exhibitor ticket. Numbers are obtained at registration. If you are entering an Adult category you must go to the Curling Club to obtain an Adult Exhibitor Number and to pay the $5.00 Exhibitor Fee.

5. Exhibitors must enter the grade they were at on the first day of school this year.

6. The exhibitor must do all the work. Parents are urged to encourage their children in every way, but let them do the work!

7. No exhibitor may enter more than one entry in any section.

8. All baking must be in plastic bags or wrap and displayed on paper plates.

9. All pictures are to be a maximum size of 8.5 x 11 inches (21.59 cm x 27.94 cm) unless indicated otherwise.

10. Junior Artwork need not be framed but must be mounted on a stiff backing. It is suggested that unframed pictures be matted on Bristol board or construction paper. A picture that will not hang properly may not be accepted. The Artists name should be covered to maintain anonymity.

11. Everyone gets $2.00 if no prize won.

12. All students must enter under own name.

CLASS 1 - JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN

  1. Sponge Paint a fall scene (8.5" x 11")

  2. Paint a stone to look like a bug

  3. Draw a tree (max. size 8.5" x 11")

  4. Make a flower from cupcake paper liners

CLASS 2 - SENIOR KINDERGARTEN

 

  1. Draw a pumpkin and sponge paint it
    (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

  2. Create your own birthday card

  3. Paint a stone to look like a bee

  4. Using a handprint or footprint create an animal ​(max. size 8.5” x 11”)

CLASS 3 - GRADE 1

  1. Make a Turkey out of Paper Plates

  2. Make Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer from toilet paper rolls

  3. Make a Popsicle Stick Barn (max size 8.5” x 11”)

  4. Create a Spider Creature using Pipe Cleaners

CLASS 4 - GRADE 2

  1. Make a Fall Popcorn Tree

  2. Create a Playdoh Vegetable

  3. Make a bead bracelet

  4. Make a witch's broomstick using items from nature (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

CLASS 5 - GRADE 3

  1. Create a Painted Egg Carton Car using ½ carton.

  2. Create a Butterfly using coffee filters.

  3. Create a paper Beach Scene
    (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

  4. Create a tissue paper fall tree
    (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

CLASS 6 - GRADE 4

  1. Create a tissue paper sunflower
    (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

  2. Create a paper mâché mask.

  3. Create a decorated paper airplane.

  4. Draw a picture of what is at the end of the Rainbow (max. size 8.5" x 11")

CLASS 7 - GRADE 5

  1. Create a Fall Fair Float using the Fair Theme (max. size 8.5" x 11") - 2024 Fair Theme is "Derbies, Pies and Rides, Oh My"

  2. Create an image on paper using items from nature and natural materials
    (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

  3. Create a “Do Not Disturb” sign for your bedroom (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

  4. Create a pinecone turkey.

CLASS 8 - GRADE 6

 

  1. Make a Poster (any media) to show an ecological message

  2. Create a paper mâché beehive (size of a small balloon, able to hang)

  3. Create your own emoji (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

  4. Make a musical instrument using any medium.

CLASS 9 - GRADE 7 & 8

  1. Create a Pinecone Christmas Ornament.

  2. Choose a favorite song title, lyric or verse and make it into a picture using any media. No inappropriate language (max. size 8.5" x 11")

  3. Create a Greeting Card for any holiday, include an original verse or poem

  4. Design a Video Game Cover (max. size 8.5” x11”)

CLASS 10 - GRADE 9 - 12

  1. Create a paper mâché mask.

  2. Create a fall wreath using natural materials

  3. Create your own string art
    (max. size 8.5” x 11”)

  4. Create an Original Work of Art - any media

CLASS 17 - CREATIVE WORK 12 Years and Under

  1. Make a Sock Puppet
